- Develop and maintain the Master Data Management (MDM) system to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of our data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement data management best practices and standards.
- Perform data analysis and quality checks to identify and resolve any data integrity issues.
- Design and implement data integration processes to ensure smooth flow of data between systems.
- Create and maintain documentation for MDM processes, procedures, and standards.
- Monitor and troubleshoot any system performance or data quality issues.
- Develop and implement data governance policies to ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in MDM technology to continuously improve the MDM system.
- Train and mentor junior MDM engineers on best practices and standard procedures.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide effective solutions.
- Lead and participate in data migration and data cleansing projects.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries and data models.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the MDM system.
- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management to provide updates on MDM system performance and progress.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including data privacy and security guidelines.
- Attend relevant training and professional development opportunities to stay updated on industry best practices and advancements.
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide recommendations and solutions for data-related issues.
- Lead and participate in cross-functional projects to improve data management processes.
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure smooth operation of the MDM system.
Extensive Experience With Master Data Management (Mdm) Platforms: A Senior Mdm Engineer At Delta Air Lines Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Hands-On Experience With Leading Mdm Platforms Such As Informatica Mdm, Ibm Mdm, Or Sap Mdm.
Proficiency In Data Modeling And Data Governance: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Data Modeling Principles And Data Governance Best Practices To Ensure The Accuracy And Consistency Of Master Data Across The Organization.
Strong Technical Skills: A Senior Mdm Engineer Should Possess Advanced Skills In Sql, Data Integration, And Etl Tools, As Well As Experience With Data Quality And Metadata Management.
Knowledge Of Airline Industry And Business Processes: Delta Air Lines Is A Complex Organization With Unique Business Processes And Data Requirements. A Senior Mdm Engineer Should Have A Good Understanding Of The Airline Industry And The Ability To Align Mdm Solutions With Business Needs.
Leadership And Project Management Experience: As A Senior Role, The Candidate Should Have Experience Leading A Team And Managing Mdm Projects From Inception To Completion.
