- Monitor and analyze market trends, pricing, and supply to identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies in fuel sourcing.
- Oversee the negotiation and management of fuel contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for Delta Air Lines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize fuel usage and minimize operational disruptions.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of fuel sourcing, including inventory management, delivery logistics, and quality control.
- Conduct regular audits and analysis of fuel usage and costs to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations.
- Lead and mentor a team of fuel sourcing and operations professionals, providing guidance and support to drive performance and achieve goals.

- Communicate effectively with senior leadership, presenting reports and updates on fuel sourcing and operations performance, and providing recommendations for future strategies.
- Adhere to all relevant safety and regulatory guidelines and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Represent Delta Air Lines at industry events and conferences to network and promote the company's fuel management capabilities.
- Continuously monitor and assess risks and challenges in the fuel sourcing and operations industry, and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential impacts on Delta Air Lines.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork within the Fuel Sourcing and Operations team, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Uphold and promote the values and brand image of Delta Air Lines through all aspects of the role.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Fuel Sourcing And Operations, Preferably In The Aviation Industry
Strong Negotiation And Contract Management Skills
Demonstrated Ability To Manage And Optimize Fuel Supply Chain And Operations Processes
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously
