  1. Develop and maintain data pipelines to support analysis and reporting on health and wellbeing initiatives.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and collect relevant data from various sources.
  3. Clean, organize, and transform data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  4. Utilize advanced analytics techniques to identify trends and patterns in health and wellbeing data.
  5. Create visualizations and reports to communicate insights and findings to stakeholders.
  6. Develop and maintain data models and databases for efficient data storage and retrieval.
  7. Continuously monitor data quality and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and global health.
  9. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data security and privacy protocols are followed.
  10. Actively participate in meetings and discussions to provide data-driven recommendations for health and wellbeing strategies.
  11. Assist in the development and implementation of new data-related processes and procedures.
  12. Train and mentor junior data engineers on best practices and techniques.
  13. Communicate complex data concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  14. Maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail in all data-related tasks.
  15. Act as a subject matter expert on health and wellbeing data and provide guidance to team members.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Data Engineering: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Data Engineering, With A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role. This Includes Knowledge Of Etl Processes, Data Warehousing, And Data Modeling.

  • Strong Understanding Of Global Health And Wellbeing: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Global Health And Wellbeing, Including Key Issues, Trends, And Challenges. This Will Enable Them To Develop Data Solutions That Are Relevant And Impactful For Delta Air Lines' Global Operations.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages And Tools: The Candidate Must Be Proficient In Programming Languages Such As Sql, Python, And R, As Well As Data Manipulation And Visualization Tools Like Tableau And Power Bi. This Will Allow Them To Effectively Extract, Transform, And Analyze Large Datasets.

  • Knowledge Of Airline Industry Data: Experience Working With Airline Industry Data, Such As Flight Schedules, Passenger Data, And Operational Data, Is Preferred. This Will Enable The Candidate To Quickly Understand And Work With Delta Air Lines' Data Ecosystem.

  • Strong Problem-Solving And Communication Skills: The Data Engineer Should Be Able To Effectively Identify And Solve Complex Data Problems, As Well As Communicate Their Findings And Solutions To Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders. This Will Be Crucial In Driving Data-Informed Decision Making For Global Health And Wellbeing Initiatives At Delta Air Lines.
