CNA- Neuro

As a CNA, you will play a vital role in the care of our patients with neurological conditions, by providing them with the necessary support and assistance. 1. Provide compassionate and dedicated care to patients with neurological conditions.
2. Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
3. Monitor and record patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
4. Assist with transferring patients in and out of bed, wheelchair, or other mobility devices.
5. Administer medications and assist with medical procedures under the direction of a registered nurse.
6. Observe and report any changes in patients' physical or mental condition to the nursing staff.
7. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control and safety protocols.
8. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
9. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
10. Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance knowledge and skills in caring for patients with neurological conditions.
11. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
12. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
13. Demonstrate professionalism and a positive attitude in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
14. Continuously strive to improve the quality of care and patient experience.
15. Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Atrium Health in all aspects of job performance.
