- Conduct thorough investigations of insurance claims to determine coverage and liability
- Evaluate and analyze claim information, including policy details and loss documentation
- Negotiate and settle claims in a timely and fair manner, adhering to company guidelines and regulations
- Communicate with clients, policyholders, and other parties involved in the claims process to provide updates and gather necessary information
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claims activity
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as underwriters and legal counsel, to ensure proper handling of claims
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and policyholders, addressing any concerns or questions in a professional and timely manner
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and efficiency in claims handling
- Handle multiple claims simultaneously and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
- Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness in claims handling.
Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field, Such As Business, Finance, Or Insurance.
At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Claims Adjusting, Preferably In The Insurance Industry.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws And Regulations Related To Insurance Claims.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Make Fair And Accurate Decisions.
Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To Handle Difficult Situations And Interact With Clients And Stakeholders Effectively.
