- Monitor and respond to security incidents within the cloud environment of Currencycloud.
- Ensure the safety and integrity of systems and data within the cloud environment.
- Collaborate with the security team to develop and implement security policies and procedures for the cloud environment.
- Keep up-to-date with emerging threats and vulnerabilities in the cloud environment and proactively take necessary actions to mitigate them.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and address potential risks.
- Investigate and analyze security incidents to determine root cause and implement corrective actions.
- Work closely with other teams to identify and resolve security issues related to the cloud environment.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to security processes and procedures in the cloud environment.
- Participate in the design and implementation of security controls for new cloud-based projects.
- Stay informed about industry standards and best practices related to cloud security and make recommendations for improvement.
- Conduct training and awareness programs for employees on cloud security best practices.
- Continuously monitor and assess the effectiveness of security measures in the cloud environment and make necessary improvements.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for security incidents.
- Collaborate with external security partners to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance the overall security posture of the cloud environment.
Job Qualifications
Knowledge Of Cloud Security Principles: A Cloud Soc Analyst At Visa Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Cloud Security Principles, Including Secure Network Design, Identity And Access Management, Encryption, And Data Protection.
Experience With Cloud Security Tools And Technologies: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Hands-On Experience With A Variety Of Cloud Security Tools And Technologies, Such As Aws Security Services, Siem Tools, And Vulnerability Scanners.
Familiarity With Compliance Standards: Visa Is A Highly Regulated Company, And As Such, The Cloud Soc Analyst Should Be Familiar With Compliance Standards Such As Pci Dss, Iso 27001, And Gdpr.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Role Of A Cloud Soc Analyst Requires The Ability To Analyze Large Amounts Of Data And Identify Potential Security Threats. As Such, Candidates Should Have Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.
Communication And Teamwork Skills: A Cloud Soc Analyst At Visa Will Work Closely With Other Members Of The Security Team, As Well As Other Departments Within The Company. Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills Are Essential For The Role.
