  1. Develop and implement therapeutic recreational programs and activities for students at East Campus, Limited.
  2. Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for students of diverse backgrounds, promoting a sense of community and belonging.
  3. Utilize knowledge and expertise in recreation therapy to support the physical, emotional, and social well-being of students.
  4. Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students, taking into consideration their unique needs and goals.
  5. Collaborate with other members of the university community, including counselors and faculty, to support the overall wellness of students.
  6. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate with relevant parties regarding treatment plans and updates.
  7. Demonstrate a compassionate and empathetic nature while working with students, understanding the importance of creating a safe and supportive environment.
  8. Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in recreation therapy, incorporating new techniques and methods into programming.
  9. Participate in regular team meetings and trainings to enhance skills and knowledge, as well as contribute to the overall growth and development of the department.
  10. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the field of recreation therapy, maintaining confidentiality and upholding the values of the university.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Recreation Therapy Or A Related Field.

  • Certification As A Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (Ctrs).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Planning, Implementing, And Evaluating Recreational Therapy Programs.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Diverse Populations And Their Specific Therapeutic Needs.

  • Familiarity With Electronic Health Records And Ability To Document And Track Progress Of Clients.
