Schneider Electric is seeking an experienced Global Category Leader - IT Software Sourcing, with strong knowledge of the IT Software market, to join our dynamic team. We are looking for a strategic thinker with a customer-focused approach who is driven to exceed expectations and deliver results. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a proven ability to effectively drive cost savings and achieve objectives. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field, at least 5 years of related experience and knowledge of IT Software category management. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute IT Software category strategies to ensure maximum cost savings and value add for Schneider Electric.
  2. Conduct market research and build relationships with current and potential suppliers to drive competitive bidding and cost savings.
  3. Negotiate strategic supplier contracts and manage vendor performance to ensure that Schneider Electric receives the most competitive pricing.
  4. Lead cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of IT Software category strategies.
  5. Stay abreast of market trends and new software products to ensure Schneider Electric is leveraging the most up-to-date technology.
  6. Prepare reports and presentations on IT Software category strategies and performance.
  7. Develop and implement processes for IT Software sourcing and category management.
  8. Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure that the IT Software category strategies are properly understood and implemented.
