  1. Provide specialized care to patients with foot and ankle conditions, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
  2. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' foot and ankle health, including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic tests.
  3. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patients' specific needs and conditions.
  4. Perform a variety of procedures related to podiatry, such as wound care, nail avulsion, and injections.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
  6. Educate patients and their families on podiatry principles and practices, as well as proper foot and ankle care.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
  8. Adhere to legal and ethical standards in healthcare and maintain patient confidentiality.
  9. Stay current with advancements and developments in podiatry through continuing education and professional development opportunities.
  10. Demonstrate a commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and promoting a positive patient experience.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Rn And Np Licensure: The Candidate Must Hold A Current And Unrestricted Registered Nurse (Rn) License And Nurse Practitioner (Np) License In The State Where They Will Be Practicing.

  • Graduate Degree In Nursing: The Candidate Must Have A Master Of Science In Nursing (Msn) Or Doctor Of Nursing Practice (Dnp) Degree From An Accredited Program.

  • Specialized Training In Podiatry: The Candidate Must Have Completed Specialized Training In Podiatry Through An Accredited Program Or Through On-The-Job Training.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Clinical Experience: The Candidate Must Have At Least 2 Years Of Clinical Experience As A Nurse Practitioner, Preferably In A Podiatry Setting.

  • Board Certification In Podiatry: The Candidate Must Be Board Certified In Podiatry By A Recognized National Organization, Such As The American Board Of Foot And Ankle Surgery (Abfas) Or The American Board Of Podiatric Medicine (Abpm).
