- Provide specialized care to patients with foot and ankle conditions, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' foot and ankle health, including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patients' specific needs and conditions.
- Perform a variety of procedures related to podiatry, such as wound care, nail avulsion, and injections.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
- Educate patients and their families on podiatry principles and practices, as well as proper foot and ankle care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Adhere to legal and ethical standards in healthcare and maintain patient confidentiality.

Current Rn And Np Licensure: The Candidate Must Hold A Current And Unrestricted Registered Nurse (Rn) License And Nurse Practitioner (Np) License In The State Where They Will Be Practicing.
Graduate Degree In Nursing: The Candidate Must Have A Master Of Science In Nursing (Msn) Or Doctor Of Nursing Practice (Dnp) Degree From An Accredited Program.
Specialized Training In Podiatry: The Candidate Must Have Completed Specialized Training In Podiatry Through An Accredited Program Or Through On-The-Job Training.
Minimum Of 2 Years Clinical Experience: The Candidate Must Have At Least 2 Years Of Clinical Experience As A Nurse Practitioner, Preferably In A Podiatry Setting.
Board Certification In Podiatry: The Candidate Must Be Board Certified In Podiatry By A Recognized National Organization, Such As The American Board Of Foot And Ankle Surgery (Abfas) Or The American Board Of Podiatric Medicine (Abpm).
