Met Adds Assistant Curator for European Paintings

The Metropolitan Museum of Art announced the addition of one new Assistant Curator for European Paintings at The Met Fifth Avenue in New York. The appointment strengthens the museum’s curatorial team as it continues to organize exhibitions and deepen research on European painting from the Renaissance to the modern era.

The new curator will work with other departments to enhance knowledge of the collection, support scholarly programs, and engage the public through exhibitions, publications, and programs.
