IKEA Expands Global Hiring Across Markets
IKEA reports a broad wave of new job postings worldwide across stores, logistics and corporate functions.
IKEA posted 483 new roles on August 19, 2026, across more than 40 markets, including positions such as Warehouse Co-worker in North York and Sales Team Leader in Hyderabad, among many others.
The postings cover store operations, logistics, design, IT, food service and customer care, with opportunities ranging from full-time to part-time and student-friendly shifts, reflecting IKEA's ongoing omnichannel strategy across Europe, the Americas, Asia-Pacific and beyond.
While 483 roles were added, the company also removed 505 positions in this period, resulting in a net decrease of 22 roles. The mix indicates workforce optimization while maintaining capacity in key growth areas.
