Best Buy Adds 880 Jobs Across U.S.

Best Buy announced a broad hiring push on July 22, 2026, listing 880 new postings across a range of roles, including Retail Sales Associates, Geek Squad technicians, installers, and warehouse staff. The postings span dozens of markets, reflecting continued investment in both brick-and-mortar and in-home service capabilities.

In addition to front-line store roles, postings include corporate and specialized positions like data science and supply chain analytics, as well as field installation and vehicle delivery roles. Examples include Data Scientist - Strategic Network Design, Senior Manager, Enterprise Strategy Delivery, and Premium Retail Designer, among others.

Despite the additions, the company also removed 1,030 postings, resulting in a net decrease of 150 postings. Industry observers view such net shifts as indicators of workforce optimization and strategic refocus.
