Anthropic's October 2, 2026 hiring update shows six new roles across regions and functions. The openings include Channel Partner Manager, Public Sector in Washington, DC; Head of Payroll & Equity in San Francisco and Seattle; Partner Account Manager for the DACH region in Munich; Staff Research Engineer, Multi-Agent Scaling in San Francisco, New York City, and Seattle; Strategic Business Development Lead in San Francisco, New York City, and Seattle; and Technical Program Manager, Life Sciences in San Francisco and New York City.
In addition, seven positions were removed across engineering, recruiting, partnerships, internal controls and sales, with roles in San Francisco, New York City, Seattle, and London. Removed roles include Engineering Manager, Cybersecurity Products (SF/NYC); Recruiter, Mergers & Acquisitions (SF); Forward Deployed Engineer (NYC, SF, Seattle); Global Technology Partner Manager (SF/NYC/Seattle); Accounting, Revenue Internal Controls (SF/Seattle); Strategic Account Executive, Investment Banking & Capital Markets (NYC/SF); Applied AI Engineer, DNB (London).
Overall, six positions were added and seven removed, resulting in a net decrease.
