Sterilization Experience: Candidates Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of The Sterilization Process And Be Familiar With Various Methods, Such As Steam, Ethylene Oxide, And Hydrogen Peroxide Gas Plasma.
Knowledge Of Medical Instruments: A Strong Understanding Of The Different Types Of Medical Instruments, Their Uses, And Proper Handling Techniques Is Essential For This Job.
Attention To Detail: Instrument Processing Technicians Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Identify Any Potential Defects Or Issues With Medical Instruments That Could Compromise Patient Safety.
Certification: Candidates Should Have A Certification In Sterile Processing, Such As The Certified Registered Central Service Technician (Crcst) Or The Certified Sterile Processing And Distribution Technician (Cspdt).
