Monitor store premises and identify potential security threats.
Conduct regular patrols and inspections to ensure the safety and security of customers and employees.
Respond to any security incidents or emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
Utilize surveillance systems and technology to monitor and prevent theft, fraud, and other criminal activity.
Conduct investigations into any suspicious activity or incidents, and gather evidence for potential legal action.
Collaborate with store management and local law enforcement to address security concerns.
Train and educate store staff on security protocols and best practices.
Maintain accurate records of security incidents and provide regular reports to management.
Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to asset protection.
Continuously identify and implement improvements to enhance the overall security of the store.
Stay updated on current security trends and techniques to proactively prevent potential threats.
Maintain a high level of customer service while ensuring the safety and security of customers and employees.
Identify and report any safety hazards or risks within the store.
Adhere to all safety and security protocols and guidelines set by the company.
Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner at all times.

Job Qualifications

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For The Position Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Understanding Of Mathematics, Communication, And Problem-Solving Skills.
Knowledge Of Security And Safety Procedures: The Ideal Candidate Should Be Familiar With Security And Safety Techniques, Such As Surveillance Systems, Alarm Systems, And Emergency Procedures. This Knowledge Is Essential For Monitoring And Protecting Lowe's Assets.
Previous Security Or Law Enforcement Experience: Prior Experience In Security Or Law Enforcement Is Highly Desirable For This Role. This Can Include Working As A Security Guard, Loss Prevention Officer, Or In A Similar Position. The Candidate Should Be Able To Demonstrate Their Knowledge And Experience In Asset Protection.
Attention To Detail: Asset Protection Agents Need To Pay Close Attention To Detail To Identify Potential Risks Or Threats To Lowe's Assets. This Includes Observing Customer Behavior, Reviewing Surveillance Footage, And Conducting Thorough Investigations.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As An Asset Protection Agent, You Will Need To Work Closely With Store Management, Employees, And Law Enforcement Officials. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Effectively Communicating And Collaborating With Various Stakeholders.
