1. Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and innovation within the Pet category.
2. Lead and manage a team of category strategists to achieve business objectives and KPIs.
3. Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer insights.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and product development to ensure alignment and execution of category strategy.
5. Monitor and track category performance and make data-driven recommendations to optimize business outcomes.
6. Drive product assortment and pricing strategies to meet consumer demands and achieve sales targets.
7. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and retailers, to support category growth.
8. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and continuously identify new opportunities to enhance the company's position within the pet market.
9. Provide leadership and mentorship to team members to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
10. Represent the company at industry events and conferences to build brand awareness and network with industry professionals.
