Job Description

At Intuitive Surgical, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inventory Control Process and Programs Manager to join our dynamic team. As the leader of our inventory control processes and programs, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our supply chain operations.   1. Develop and implement inventory control processes and programs to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the supply chain operations.
  2. Monitor and analyze inventory levels, identify potential issues, and make recommendations for improvements.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and finance, to optimize inventory management strategies.
  4. Conduct regular audits of inventory data and processes to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  5. Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking and reporting on inventory levels, usage, and discrepancies.
  6. Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of inventory and resolve any issues that may arise.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in inventory management and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  9. Train and mentor team members on inventory control processes and procedures.
  10. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior management, to provide updates on inventory status and recommend solutions for any issues.
  11. Collaborate with IT teams to develop and implement inventory management software systems.
  12. Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to inventory, such as stock levels, accuracy, and lead times.
  13. Develop and manage budgets for inventory control processes and programs.
  14. Stay updated on regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to inventory control.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve inventory control processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum 5 Years Of Experience In Inventory Control And Management, Preferably In A Medical Device Or Healthcare Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Inventory Management Systems And Processes, Including Experience With Erp Systems.

  • Demonstrated Ability To Lead And Manage A Team, With Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.

  • Understanding Of Fda Regulations And Compliance Requirements For Medical Device Inventory Management.
