Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for driving event sales and coordinating all aspects of event planning to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.   1. Drive event sales by actively seeking out and securing new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and relationship building.
  2. Collaborate with clients to understand their event needs and provide personalized recommendations and proposals.
  3. Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including venue selection, menu planning, audiovisual equipment, and room setup.
  4. Manage event budgets and ensure profitability by negotiating prices with vendors and maximizing revenue opportunities.
  5. Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to ensure all event details are understood and executed flawlessly.
  6. Promote and maintain a positive and professional image of Hyatt by providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships with clients.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor offerings to make strategic recommendations for event enhancements and improvements.
  8. Train and supervise event planning staff to ensure high-quality service and adherence to company standards.
  9. Monitor event feedback and make necessary adjustments to continuously improve guest satisfaction.
  10. Maintain accurate and detailed records of event planning activities and sales reports.
  11. Collaborate with other departments, such as catering, housekeeping, and audiovisual, to ensure seamless execution of events.
  12. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines, to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for guests and staff.
  13. Represent Hyatt at industry events and trade shows to promote our event services and build brand awareness.
  14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times and be a brand ambassador for Hyatt.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and innovate event planning processes and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Hospitality Management Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Event Sales And Planning, Preferably In A Hotel Or Resort Setting

  • Strong Knowledge Of Event Industry Trends And Best Practices

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Clients And Vendors

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Executing Large-Scale Events With A High Level Of Attention To Detail And Customer Satisfaction.
