At Hubbell Incorporated, we are looking for an experienced Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about ensuring regulatory compliance and protecting our organization from any legal risks. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and enforcing regulatory compliance and recommending changes to ensure that the organization is compliant with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field, and at least 5 years of professional experience in a regulatory compliance role. They must have a strong understanding of laws and regulations related to compliance and a thorough knowledge of auditing principles and practices. Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and enforce the organization's compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  2. Implement and maintain a regulatory compliance system to identify potential areas of non-compliance.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  4. Review current policies and procedures and recommend changes to ensure compliance.
  5. Conduct research on current and emerging laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  6. Lead internal audits to ensure compliance and identify areas of risk.
  7. Prepare and submit reports to management related to compliance activities.
  8. Assist in the development and implementation of training programs to ensure compliance.
  9. Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  10. Respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies regarding compliance.
  11. Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including regulators and other industry contacts.
  12. Provide guidance and advice to management and other departments on regulatory compliance matters.
