- Conduct thorough investigations of auto damage claims to accurately assess the extent of damage and determine appropriate settlements for customers.
- Utilize knowledge of insurance policies, laws, and regulations to properly evaluate claims and make fair and accurate decisions.
- Negotiate with customers, repair facilities, and other parties involved in claims to reach fair and efficient settlements.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of claims, including documentation of assessments, negotiations, and settlements.
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing updates and answering questions about their claims in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other team members, including appraisers, attorneys, and supervisors, to effectively handle complex claims and provide exceptional customer service.
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and changes, including new laws and regulations, to ensure accurate and compliant handling of claims.
- Provide guidance and support to less experienced adjusters, sharing knowledge and expertise to assist in their development.
- Continuously seek opportunities for improvement in processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness in handling claims.
- Uphold the company's values and maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, both in interactions with customers and in the workplace.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Auto Damage Adjusting: Candidates Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Handling Complex Auto Damage Claims And Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Industry Practices And Standards.
Strong Knowledge Of Auto Insurance Policies And Regulations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Comprehensive Understanding Of Insurance Policies And State Regulations Related To Auto Damage Claims In Order To Accurately Assess Damages And Determine Coverage.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills: As An Experienced Auto Damage Adjuster, The Candidate Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Customers, Third-Party Vendors, And Other Insurance Professionals In Order To Settle Claims Efficiently And Fairly.
