At Freddie Mac, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Red Team Penetration Tester to join our dynamic team as a Technical Lead. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for leading and executing red team operations to identify and exploit vulnerabilities in our systems, networks, and applications.   1. Lead and execute red team operations to identify and exploit vulnerabilities in Freddie Mac's systems, networks, and applications.
  2. Develop and implement effective strategies to assess and enhance the security posture of Freddie Mac.
  3. Conduct thorough and comprehensive penetration testing to identify potential security risks and provide recommendations for mitigation.
  4. Stay up-to-date with the latest hacking techniques and security trends to continuously improve the red team's capabilities.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and effective resolution of identified vulnerabilities.
  6. Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  7. Mentor and coach junior team members to enhance their technical skills and support their professional growth.
  8. Work closely with other security teams to coordinate and conduct joint exercises and assessments.
  9. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all red team activities and results.
  10. Adhere to all security policies, procedures, and standards set by Freddie Mac and regulatory bodies.
  11. Participate in industry conferences and events to stay current on emerging security threats and best practices.
  12. Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
  13. Continuously identify opportunities for improvement in processes and procedures, and provide recommendations for enhancements.
  14. Serve as a subject matter expert and provide technical guidance to other teams within the organization.
  15. Uphold the highest ethical standards and maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Technical Knowledge And Experience In Penetration Testing: A Red Team Penetration Tester - Technical Lead At Freddie Mac Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Various Technologies, Operating Systems, And Network Infrastructures, And Be Able To Effectively Identify And Exploit Vulnerabilities.

  • Strong Understanding Of Threat Intelligence And Attack Methodologies: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Current And Emerging Threat Landscape, As Well As Different Attack Techniques And Methodologies. This Knowledge Will Be Critical In Developing Effective Red Team Strategies And Testing Scenarios.

  • Excellent Leadership And Project Management Skills: As A Technical Lead, The Candidate Should Have Experience In Leading And Managing A Team Of Penetration Testers, Assigning Tasks, And Ensuring Timely Delivery Of High-Quality Results. They Should Also Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Stakeholders And Manage Project Timelines And Budgets.

  • Proficiency In Multiple Programming And Scripting Languages: A Red Team Penetration Tester - Technical Lead Should Be Well-Versed In Various Programming And Scripting Languages, Such As Python, Bash, Or Powershell, To Develop Custom Tools And Scripts For Testing And Reporting Purposes.

  • Certifications In Relevant Fields: Certifications Such As Oscp, Osce, Cissp, Or Ceh Demonstrate A High Level Of Technical Proficiency And A Commitment To Continuous Learning And Development. These Certifications Are Preferred And May Be Required For The Position.
