Extensive Knowledge Of International Sanctions Regulations And Laws: The Sanctions Compliance Sr. Manager/Counsel At Ebay Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Various International Sanctions Programs And Regulations, Including But Not Limited To Ofac, Eu, Un, And Other Relevant Bodies. This Includes Staying Up-To-Date With Any Changes Or Updates To These Regulations.
Experience In Developing And Implementing Sanctions Compliance Programs: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Creating And Implementing Effective Sanctions Compliance Programs In A Large, Multinational Organization. This Includes Conducting Risk Assessments, Developing Policies And Procedures, And Providing Training To Employees.
Strong Communication And Stakeholder Management Skills: This Role Will Require Interacting With Various Internal And External Stakeholders, Including Government Agencies, Business Partners, And Senior Management. The Sanctions Compliance Sr. Manager/Counsel Should Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Convey Complex Regulations And Requirements To Different Audiences.
Legal Background And Expertise: A Strong Legal Background, Preferably With A Specialization In International Trade Or Sanctions Law, Is A Crucial Qualification For This Role.
