In this role, you will play a crucial part in the success of our retail store by assisting our Merchandise Manager in all aspects of operations.   1. Assisting the Merchandise Manager in all aspects of store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and customer service.
  2. Collaborating with the Merchandise Manager to create and implement strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
  3. Ensuring that all merchandise is properly stocked, displayed, and priced according to company standards.
  4. Conducting regular inventory counts and identifying opportunities for improvement in inventory management processes.
  5. Providing exceptional customer service by addressing any customer concerns or inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  6. Training and mentoring new team members to ensure they are knowledgeable about company policies and procedures.
  7. Enforcing company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  8. Assisting with the recruitment, hiring, and training of new team members.
  9. Maintaining a positive and professional attitude at all times, and serving as a role model for other team members.
  10. Continuously seeking opportunities for personal and professional growth, and actively contributing to the success of the store and the company as a whole.

Job Qualifications

  • Retail Experience: A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Retail Setting, Preferably In A Management Role, Is Typically Required For A Merchandise Assistant Manager Position At Dollar Tree.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: The Ability To Effectively Lead And Manage A Team Is Essential For A Merchandise Assistant Manager. This Includes The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Guidance And Direction, And Motivate Team Members To Achieve Goals.
