
Merchandise Assistant Manager

- Support the store manager in day-to-day operations of the merchandise department.
- Ensure the store is properly stocked and shelves are visually appealing and organized.
- Assist in creating and implementing merchandising strategies to drive sales and maximize profits.
- Train and supervise merchandise associates on proper store procedures and merchandising techniques.
- Maintain a high level of customer service by promptly addressing any customer concerns or inquiries.
- Monitor inventory levels and work with the store manager to place orders as needed.
- Conduct regular store walks to ensure merchandise is priced accurately and displayed in accordance with company standards.
- Collaborate with the store manager to develop and implement promotional events and displays.
- Keep track of merchandise sales and report any discrepancies or trends to the store manager.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including safety and security measures.
- Assist in the hiring and training of new merchandise associates.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve the overall efficiency and productivity of the merchandise department.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards customers and fellow team members.
- Communicate effectively with the store manager and other team members to ensure smooth operation of the store.
- Take on additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned by the store manager.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Retail Management Experience, Preferably In A Similar Role.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Lead And Motivate A Team.
Strong Organizational And Time-Management Skills, With The Ability To Prioritize Tasks And Meet Deadlines.
Knowledge Of Retail Merchandising Strategies And Best Practices, With The Ability To Analyze Sales Data And Make Strategic Decisions.
Familiarity With Inventory Management And Ordering Processes, As Well As Experience With Budgeting And Cost Control Measures.
