- Lead and manage a team of engineers responsible for developing and implementing cloud-based solutions for Costco Wholesale.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the latest cloud technologies and how they can be leveraged to drive innovation and improve efficiency in a large-scale retail environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, business stakeholders, and other engineering teams, to define project goals and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Set strategic direction for the team and develop plans to execute on the vision, while also providing hands-on technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of cloud-based solutions, managing project timelines, and communicating progress and challenges to stakeholders.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline development and deployment processes and increase efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to cloud computing and make recommendations for their adoption.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team culture, promoting knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and professional development.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to understand business needs and priorities and align technology solutions accordingly.
- Monitor and manage the performance and growth of team members, providing regular feedback and coaching to support their professional development.
Job Qualifications
Strong Technical Background: A Manager - Cloud Express Engineering At Costco Wholesale Should Have A Strong Technical Background, Particularly In Cloud Computing And Engineering. They Should Possess Knowledge Of Multiple Cloud Platforms, Such As Aws, Azure, And Google Cloud, And Be Proficient In Programming Languages Like Python, Java, And Ruby.
