Cognizant is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Data Scientist Consultant to join our Data Science and Analytics team. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in data-driven problem solving and be able to develop and implement innovative solutions with little to no guidance. If you are an analytics-minded professional with a passion for unlocking the potential of data, then this role is for you!To be successful in this role, a candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in data science and analytics. Additionally, the successful candidate must have strong skills in programming languages such as Python and R, and must be familiar with a variety of data visualisation software tools such as Tableau and PowerBI. Experience in machine learning algorithms and natural language processing (NLP) will be considered a plus.The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of data sets and will be expected to use their expertise to develop solutions to challenging business problems. Responsibilities:
- Develop data-driven solutions to challenging business problems.

- Collaborate with the Data Science and Analytics team to develop and implement effective data solutions.
- Monitor and evaluate data trends and patterns to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide technical support and guidance to stakeholders as needed.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends in data science and analytics.
