  5. Conducting feasibility studies and making recommendations for improvements.
  6. Troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to PCB design.

  8. Collaborating with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth production of PCBs.
  9. Maintaining accurate documentation of design processes and changes.
  10. Ensuring timely delivery of PCB designs within project timelines.
  11. Working with suppliers to source and procure necessary components for PCB production.
  12. Identifying and implementing cost-saving measures in PCB design.
  13. Providing technical support and guidance to junior team members.
  14. Participating in team meetings and providing updates on project progress.
  15. Adhering to company policies and procedures, including quality and safety standards.
  16. Continuously looking for opportunities to improve and optimize PCB design processes.

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency In Cad Software: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Strong Skills In Using Electronic Computer-Aided Design (Ecad) Software, Such As Altium Designer Or Cadence Allegro, To Create And Modify Printed Circuit Board (Pcb) Layouts.

  • Knowledge Of Pcb Design Principles: A Strong Understanding Of Pcb Design Principles, Including Design For Manufacturability (Dfm), Signal Integrity, And Thermal Management, Is Essential For This Role.

  • Familiarity With Industry Standards: The Candidate Should Have A Good Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Specifications For Pcb Design, Such As Ipc-2221 And Ipc-7351, To Ensure Compliance And Reliability Of The Final Product.

  • Experience With High-Speed And High-Density Designs: Cisco Systems Deals With Complex, High-Performance Networking Equipment, So Experience With High-Speed And High-Density Pcb Designs Is Highly Desirable For This Role.

  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: The Ability To Troubleshoot And Solve Complex Design Issues Is Crucial For An Ecad Pcb Designer At Cisco Systems. The Candidate Should Have A Sharp Eye For Detail And The Ability To Think Critically To Identify And Resolve Design Problems.
