Advanced Degree In Data Science Or Related Field: A Principal Data Scientist, Experimentation & Personalization At Capital One Is Expected To Have An Advanced Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Or Computer Science. This Qualification Demonstrates A Strong Foundation In The Core Principles And Techniques Of Data Science.
Extensive Experience In Experimentation & Personalization: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience In Designing And Implementing Experimentation And Personalization Strategies In A Fast-Paced, Data-Driven Environment. This Experience Should Include A Deep Understanding Of A/B Testing, Multivariate Testing, And Other Statistical Methods.
Proficiency In Programming Languages And Tools: A Principal Data Scientist, Experimentation & Personalization Should Have A Strong Command Of Programming Languages And Tools Such As Python, R, Sql, And Tableau. They Should Also Be Familiar With Big Data Technologies Such As Hadoop And Spark.
