  1. Develop and implement endpoint security strategies, policies, and procedures to protect company assets and data.
  2. Monitor and analyze endpoint security systems and networks for potential vulnerabilities and threats.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve security issues and incidents.
  4. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  5. Stay updated on emerging security threats and trends and make recommendations for enhancements to existing security measures.
  6. Proactively identify and address potential security risks and develop mitigation plans.
  7. Assist in the creation and maintenance of security documentation, including policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  8. Utilize security tools and technologies to monitor and respond to security events.
  9. Work closely with IT and other departments to ensure security controls are properly implemented and maintained.
  10. Conduct regular training and awareness programs for employees on security best practices.
  11. Continuously improve and optimize security systems and processes to enhance overall security posture.
  12. Investigate and respond to security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation.
  13. Collaborate with external security vendors and partners to ensure the effectiveness of security controls.
  14. Participate in security incident response and recovery efforts.
  15. Communicate and report on security risks, incidents, and progress to management and other relevant stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Endpoint Security Solutions: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Various Endpoint Security Tools And Solutions, Such As Antivirus, Firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems, And Data Loss Prevention Software.

  • Experience With Security Protocols And Standards: A Candidate Applying For This Role Should Have A Good Understanding Of Security Protocols Like Tls, Ssl, And Ipsec. They Should Also Be Familiar With Security Standards Such As Nist, Iso, And Cis Benchmarks.

  • Hands-On Experience With Endpoint Security Technologies: Applicants Should Have Hands-On Experience With Endpoint Security Technologies And Tools, Such As Mcafee, Symantec, Palo Alto, And Carbon Black.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: A Successful Endpoint Security Engineer Should Have Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Identify Security Risks And Develop Effective Strategies To Mitigate Them. They Should Be Able To Analyze Security Logs And Investigate Security Incidents.

  • Knowledge Of Scripting And Automation: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience With Scripting Languages Like Python, Powershell, Or Bash To Automate Routine Tasks And Streamline Security Operations. They Should Also Have Experience With Security Orchestration And Automation Tools Like Ansible, Puppet, Or Chef.
