1. Receive and process incoming shipments of merchandise.
2. Unpack and organize merchandise according to store standards.
3. Label and tag merchandise with accurate pricing and product information.
4. Stock and replenish merchandise on the sales floor in a timely manner.
5. Monitor inventory levels and communicate any discrepancies or shortages to management.
6. Keep the warehouse area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
7. Assist with physical inventory counts as needed.
8. Work with sales associates to locate and retrieve merchandise for customers.
9. Provide exceptional customer service by promptly assisting customers with product inquiries and locating merchandise.
10. Maintain knowledge of current promotions and sales to effectively assist customers.
11. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer service.
12. Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding merchandise handling and safety.
13. Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and responsible manner.
14. Communicate any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management.
15. Assist in maintaining accurate and organized records of merchandise in the warehouse.
16. Continuously update and improve product knowledge to provide the best shopping experience for customers.
17. Support store events and promotions by setting up and organizing merchandise displays.
18. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
