  1. Conduct blood collection procedures according to established protocols and safety standards.
  2. Ensure accuracy and efficiency in donor registration, screening, and donation process.
  3. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for donors.
  4. Communicate effectively with donors and provide exceptional customer service throughout the donation process.
  5. Collaborate with team members to achieve collection goals and maintain a steady supply of blood products.
  6. Monitor donor reactions and take appropriate measures to address any adverse events.
  7. Perform necessary administrative tasks such as data entry and record keeping.
  8. Adhere to all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures.
  9. Continuously educate yourself on blood collection techniques and procedures to maintain a high level of expertise.
  10. Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere for donors and fellow team members.
  11. Maintain confidentiality of donor information and follow HIPAA guidelines.
  12. Participate in training sessions and team meetings to stay updated on best practices and organizational goals.
  13. Handle and transport blood products in a safe and timely manner.
  14. Report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to management.
  15. Represent the American Red Cross and its mission in a professional and respectful manner.
