Electrical Controls Engineer

You are responsible for providing electrical and controls engineering support for established and new automated manufacturing lines. You can expect to work as an integral part of the team. You can excel in a team environment with phenomenal communication and customer skills, while at the same time work technically independent. You provide problem solving support to maintenance staff to quickly diagnose equipment, controls, and system issues. Work independently to provide programming and integration services (PLC’s, HMI’s, servo controls, vision systems). Monitor automated equipment, analyzing and initiating action based on data, and problem-solving activities to ensure reliability and conformity of equipment to quality system requirements. You will provide written controls narratives to detail existing processes, develop technical training manuals and job aides, and create & modify drawings (elementary electrical, panel layouts, P&ID’s, etc.). You provide support for Manufacturing Execution and Data Collection Systems, as well as deliver various technical training to the maintenance staff.
