What is the City of Riverside's policy on vacation time?

The City of Riverside's policy on vacation time is outlined in the City's Personnel Rules and Regulations. Under Section 4.1, vacation time is granted to all full-time employees and is based on length of service. Vacation time is accrued at a rate of one day per month of service, up to a maximum of 10 days after one year of service. Employees can carry over up to 10 days of unused vacation time from year to year. However, employees must take a minimum of 10 days of vacation each year.
