  1. Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients using advanced ultrasound technology and techniques.
  2. Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures, including obtaining informed consent, positioning patients, and monitoring their vital signs.
  3. Review and interpret physician orders, patient medical history, and any other relevant information to determine the appropriate ultrasound procedure.
  4. Select the appropriate equipment, transducers, and settings for each procedure, and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.
  5. Obtain high-quality images and accurately measure and document findings, including any abnormalities or variations, in a timely manner.
  6. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to analyze and interpret ultrasound images and provide a preliminary report.
  7. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, including procedure details, patient history, and any adverse reactions.
  8. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  9. Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure accurate and consistent results.
  10. Stay up-to-date with advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques, and actively participate in continuing education opportunities.
  11. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding ultrasound procedures and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
  12. Follow all hospital policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations, to ensure compliance and maintain patient confidentiality.
  13. Serve as a role model for other ultrasound technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
  14. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, working closely with other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care for patients.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced, Team-Oriented Environment.

  • Associate's Or Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Related Field.

  • Ardms Certification In At Least One Specialty (E.g. Abdomen, Ob/Gyn, Vascular).

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience As An Ultrasound Tech In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Ultrasound Equipment And Techniques, Including 3D And 4D Imaging.
