  1. Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams on patients using specialized equipment and techniques.
  2. Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
  3. Prepare and maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  5. Evaluate images for quality and accuracy, and communicate any abnormalities or concerns to the appropriate healthcare providers.
  6. Maintain a high level of technical proficiency and stay updated on advancements in ultrasound technology.
  7. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe working environment for patients and staff.
  8. Assist with scheduling and coordinating patient appointments and procedures.
  9. Provide exceptional customer service and address any patient questions or concerns.
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the department.
  11. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Related Field

  • Ardms (American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography) Certification

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Sonographer In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting

  • Proficiency In Performing A Variety Of Ultrasound Exams, Including Abdominal, Obstetric, And Vascular
