Sterile Processing Technician

Yale New Haven Health System is searching for an experienced, highly motivated Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for decontaminating, assembling, inspecting and sterilizing equipment and supplies used in patient care. We are looking for an individual who is organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a hospital Sterile Processing Department, a certification as a Sterile Processing Technician, and a strong knowledge of sterilization techniques and equipment. This position requires the ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and demonstrate a commitment to patient safety.
