- Develop and implement simulation-based learning initiatives to enhance the education and training of staff and students within the healthcare organization.
- Utilize technology to design and deliver innovative and engaging curriculum for simulation-based learning.
- Lead and facilitate simulation-based training sessions for staff and students, ensuring a high-quality learning experience.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create simulation scenarios that align with learning objectives and organizational goals.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in simulation education and incorporate them into curriculum design and delivery.
- Conduct needs assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of simulation-based learning programs.
- Train and mentor staff and faculty on simulation technology and best practices for simulation education.
- Manage and maintain simulation equipment and resources, ensuring they are up to date and functioning properly.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to integrate simulation-based learning into overall education and training programs.
- Serve as a resource and consultant to faculty, staff, and students on simulation-based learning and technology.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of simulation-based learning by identifying opportunities for enhancement and innovation.
- Maintain records and documentation related to simulation-based learning programs, including attendance, evaluations, and outcomes.
- Represent the organization at conferences and events related to simulation education and technology.
- Participate in the development and management of the simulation education budget.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all aspects of the job and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Developing And Implementing Simulation-Based Learning Programs In A Healthcare Setting.
Master's Degree In Healthcare Simulation, Education, Instructional Design, Or Related Field.
Expertise In A Variety Of Simulation Modalities Including High-Fidelity Mannequin Simulators, Virtual Reality, And Standardized Patients.
Proven Track Record Of Conducting Needs Assessments, Designing Curriculum, And Evaluating Simulation-Based Learning Programs.
Strong Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Interdisciplinary Teams And Effectively Train And Mentor Simulation Educators.
