- Manage and maintain all financial records and accounts for the Yale New Haven Health System.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with all accounting principles, regulations, and guidelines.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify any discrepancies or errors.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze financial data.
- Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and projections.
- Monitor and control expenses to ensure the financial stability of the organization.
- Review and reconcile accounts receivable and payable.
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to address any financial concerns or inquiries.
- Participate in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations.
- Assist with external audits and provide necessary documentation and information.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial information.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.
- Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes and systems.
- Train and mentor new accounting team members.

Bachelor's Degree In Accounting Or Related Field.
Certified Public Accountant (Cpa) Designation.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Accounting Or Finance, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (Gaap) And Financial Reporting.
Experience With Financial Analysis, Budgeting, And Forecasting.
