RN-Lactation Consultant

Yale New Haven Health System is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse-Lactation Consultant to join our team and provide specialized support to our patients and their families. In this role, you will be responsible for providing lactation management, education, and support to new mothers and their families at our health system. You will play an integral part in helping new mothers transition into motherhood and will ensure that our patients have access to the highest quality of care and education.We are looking for an individual with a minimum of two years of experience as a registered nurse and a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) or International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification. In addition, you should have a strong understanding of the breastfeeding process and be able to provide education and support to new mothers. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing patient-centered care. Finally, you should have an understanding of cultural diversity and be able to provide culturally sensitive care for our patients.
