Job Description

At Yale New Haven Health System, we are looking for a talented and motivated Remote Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Information Technology team, you will have the opportunity to be part of a collaborative, innovative and passionate environment.The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background in data engineering and analytics, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. We are seeking a creative problem-solver who is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. If you have experience in database design and development, data warehousing, and data integration, we want to hear from you!The Remote Business Intelligence Engineer will be responsible for providing business intelligence expertise and support to the Yale New Haven Health System. The role requires a strong understanding of the data needs of the organization, and the ability to develop efficient solutions that meet those needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining data warehouses, developing and maintaining ETL processes and data models, and creating data visualizations. Additionally, they will be tasked with designing and developing reports, dashboards, and other data-driven solutions.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field, and a minimum of three years of experience in data engineering and analytics. They must have strong knowledge of SQL and database design, and be comfortable working with large datasets. Candidates should have a working knowledge of ETL tools such as Pentaho, Informatica, and Talend. Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python and R, is an asset.
