Registered Nurse: Labor & Delivery Night

Yale New Haven Health System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor & Delivery team on the night shift. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who is committed to providing the highest quality of care to our patients. Our unit is a Level III Regional Perinatal Center, and we provide 24/7 services to mothers and newborns in the greater New Haven area.The primary responsibilities of the Registered Nurse include delivering personalized care to patients throughout their labor and delivery experience, coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care, and managing patient records and reporting. The successful candidate should possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and multitask.Minimum qualifications for this position include a valid Connecticut nursing license, an Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited program, and at least two years of experience in Labor & Delivery. BLS and NRP certifications are required. A Bachelor's degree in nursing and previous experience in a Level III Regional Perinatal Center are preferred.
