Job Description

Yale New Haven Health System is seeking an experienced and compassionate Radiation Therapist to provide exceptional care to our patients. The Radiation Therapist will be responsible for treating cancer and other diseases through the use of radiation therapy under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist and Medical Physicist.In this role, the successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, be patient-focused, and have a commitment to providing quality care. The ideal candidate should have an Associate Degree in Radiation Therapy, current certification as a Radiation Therapist from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and current state licensure.In addition to providing patient care, the Radiation Therapist will be responsible for accurately documenting treatments and other patient information in the medical record, ensuring accurate setup of treatments, and maintaining the highest standards of safety for all patients during the treatments.
