1. Conduct high-quality sleep studies: The Polysomnographic Tech will be responsible for performing and monitoring sleep studies on patients, ensuring that all procedures are conducted accurately and efficiently.
2. Maintain equipment: This role requires the Tech to properly set up and maintain all sleep study equipment, ensuring that it is in good working condition for each patient.
3. Monitor patient safety: The Tech will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring the safety of patients undergoing sleep studies, including responding to any emergencies or complications that may arise.
4. Educate patients: The successful candidate will be responsible for educating patients on the sleep study process, including what to expect and how to prepare for their study.
5. Document and report findings: The Tech will be required to accurately document and report all findings from sleep studies, including any abnormalities or concerns that may arise.
