- Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Maintain accurate records of medication inventory and assist with inventory management.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals by answering inquiries and addressing concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to medication dispensing and patient confidentiality.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and clean working environment.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to identify and resolve medication-related issues.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.

Completion Of A Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Program From An Accredited Institution: A Pharmd Degree Is A Minimum Requirement For A Pharmacy Intern Position At Yale New Haven Health System. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Received Proper Education And Training In The Field Of Pharmacy.
Valid Pharmacy Intern License: The Candidate Must Possess A Valid Pharmacy Intern License From The State In Which They Will Be Practicing. This License Ensures That The Candidate Has Met All The Necessary Requirements To Work As A Pharmacy Intern.
