  1. Provide critical care to pediatric patients during emergency situations.
  2. Work as part of a critical care transport team to provide life-saving interventions and treatments during air transport.
  3. Utilize state-of-the-art equipment and technology to deliver the highest level of care to pediatric patients.
  4. Demonstrate a strong background and expertise in pediatric critical care.
  5. Remain calm and focused in high-stress situations.
  6. Communicate effectively with team members and other healthcare professionals.
  7. Assess and prioritize patient needs, and provide appropriate interventions and treatments.
  8. Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatments, and make necessary adjustments.
  9. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and efficient care.
  10. Keep accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and treatment.
  11. Follow established protocols and procedures for patient care and safety.
  12. Maintain current knowledge and skills in pediatric critical care through continuing education and training.
  13. Provide emotional support to patients and their families during critical situations.
  14. Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
  15. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient care and outcomes.
  16. Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor at all times.
  17. Comply with all organizational policies and standards.
  18. Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their needs and preferences are respected and addressed.
  19. Serve as a role model for other team members, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
  20. Continuously strive for excellence in patient care and contribute to the overall success of the healthcare team.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Certification As A Paramedic And/Or Registered Nurse With A Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Pediatric Critical Care.

  • Advanced Training In Pediatric Critical Care, Such As Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Pals) And Neonatal Resuscitation Program (Nrp).

  • Previous Experience In Flight Medicine And/Or Critical Care Transport, Preferably In A Pediatric Setting.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interact With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Ability To Work In A High-Stress And Fast-Paced Environment, With Excellent Decision-Making And Critical Thinking Skills.
