- Provide advanced medical care to critically ill or injured children in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Assess and treat patients according to established protocols and standards of care.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide other necessary treatments as directed by medical staff.
- Monitor and interpret patient vital signs, lab results, and other diagnostic tests.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff to ensure quality care is provided.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records and documentation.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans for patients.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain and enhance skills and knowledge.
- Keep current with new developments and advancements in pediatric critical care.
- Maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
- Respond to emergency situations and perform life-saving interventions as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
- Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and professionalism towards patients and their families.

Current Certification As A Paramedic: Candidates For This Position Must Possess A Current Certification As A Paramedic From A Recognized Accrediting Organization, Such As The National Registry Of Emergency Medical Technicians (Nremt).
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Pals) Certification: The Ideal Candidate Will Have Current Pals Certification, Demonstrating Their Expertise In Advanced Life Support Techniques For Pediatric Patients.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In A Critical Care Or Emergency Setting: Candidates Must Have A Minimum Of 3 Years Experience Providing Care To Critically Ill Or Injured Patients In A Hospital Or Pre-Hospital Setting.
Flight Paramedic Certification (Fp-C): While Not Required, Candidates Who Possess The Fp-C Certification Will Be Given Preference. This Certification Demonstrates A High Level Of Expertise In Providing Care To Patients During Air Medical Transport.
Strong Communication And Team-Work Skills: As A Member Of The Critical Care Flight Team, Effective Communication And Teamwork Are Essential. Candidates Must Possess Excellent Communication Skills And Be Able To Work Collaboratively With Other Team Members In High-Stress Situations.
