- Provide expert critical care to pediatric patients during air and ground transport.
- Assess and monitor patient condition, vital signs, and response to treatment during transport.
- Administer medications and perform necessary interventions to stabilize and improve patient condition.
- Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and emergency responders, to ensure coordinated and efficient care.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care.
- Ensure safety of patients during transport by adhering to established protocols and safety standards.
- Utilize advanced medical equipment and technology to provide high-quality care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families during transport.
- Stay current on advancements and best practices in pediatric critical care and incorporate them into practice.
- Maintain all necessary certifications and licenses required for the role.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
- Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and professionalism in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Remain calm and composed during emergency situations and effectively manage crisis situations.

Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Connecticut
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Pediatric Critical Care Nursing
Certification In Advanced Pediatric Life Support (Apls) And/Or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Pals)
Previous Experience In Air Medical Transport Or Critical Care Ground Transport
Excellent Communication And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Work In High-Stress And Unpredictable Situations.
