
Pediatric Audiology Assistant

- Conduct hearing screenings and assessments for pediatric patients using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Assist audiologists in conducting diagnostic evaluations and interpreting test results.
- Educate parents and caregivers on hearing disorders, treatment options, and strategies for managing hearing impairments in children.
- Provide support and guidance to children and families throughout the treatment process.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of audiology equipment.
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including speech therapists and otolaryngologists, to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Monitor and track patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest developments and research in pediatric audiology.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Participate in training and educational opportunities to continuously improve clinical skills and knowledge.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and maintain a positive and professional demeanor with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Act as an advocate for children with hearing impairments and promote awareness and understanding of their needs.
Bachelor's Degree In Audiology, Speech And Hearing Sciences, Or A Related Field.
Prior Experience Working With Children In A Healthcare Setting.
Knowledge Of Audiology Equipment And Testing Procedures.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Work Effectively With Children And Their Families.
Ability To Multitask, Prioritize, And Work Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Environment.
