  1. Oversee the daily operations of the high-volume, fast-paced procedural areas within the Yale New Haven Health System.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to ensure exceptional patient care and satisfaction.
  3. Manage a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, technicians, and support staff, to ensure efficient and effective workflow.
  4. Monitor and manage patient wait times, ensuring timely and appropriate care for all patients.
  5. Coordinate with other departments and teams within the health system to streamline processes and improve patient flow.
  6. Lead and motivate staff to provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients.
  7. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure adequate supplies and equipment for the procedural areas.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the patient experience.
  10. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and departments to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  11. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards within the procedural areas.
  12. Manage budgets and resources effectively to achieve department goals and objectives.
  13. Handle patient complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  14. Participate in management meetings and provide reports on the performance of the procedural areas.
  15. Act as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers to facilitate open communication and address any issues or concerns.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Or Management Role In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Compliance, Particularly In Procedural Areas Such As Cardiology Or Surgery.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Multidisciplinary Teams And Effectively Communicate With Patients.

  • Experience In Managing Budgets, Staffing, And Operational Processes In A Healthcare Setting.
