- Provide compassionate and quality care to patients in the Medical ICU unit.

- Monitor and assess patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare provider.
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and ambulating.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers.

Certification: The Candidate Should Hold A Valid Certification As A Patient Care Technician, Such As A Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Or Medical Assistant (Ma), From A Recognized Institution.
Experience: A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working As A Patient Care Technician In A Medical Icu Setting Is Preferred. This Includes Experience With Basic Patient Care Tasks, Such As Taking Vital Signs, Collecting Specimens, And Assisting With Activities Of Daily Living.
Knowledge Of Medical Equipment And Procedures: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Medical Equipment Used In The Icu, Such As Ventilators, Cardiac Monitors, And Iv Pumps. They Should Also Be Familiar With Icu Procedures, Such As Suctioning, Tracheostomy Care, And Wound Dressing Changes.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: The Icu Is A High-Stress And Fast-Paced Environment, So The Candidate Should Be Able To Work Efficiently And Multitask Under Pressure. They Should Also Be Able To Remain Calm And Composed In Emergency Situations.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Patient Care Technician, The Candidate Will Work Closely With Patients, Their Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Building Rapport, Providing Emotional Support, And Collaborating Effectively With The Healthcare Team.
